Design Thinking: Face Collage

I took a semester course in the School of Architecture at UVA, under Professor Elgin Cleckley, where we were faced with real world design problems that needed creative solutions. For this project, we were tasked to create a collage that told a story. I used Photoshop in order to tell a story on mental health and dealing with emotions. I always prefer simpler design where there is a lot of meaning told through less. In this, I used images of my face and arms to speak on how while I can hold myself up, I can self-sabotage and try to cut the thread I am working so hard to hold up for myself. And all while this is happening, my support system helps more than I even realize by building up a ladder and carting away my tears so that I can have less of a burden on myself.
