In this vector, I was challenged to incorporating a background, more of the body, hair on two people, and a gator skin/leather purse. WOW. Every aspect of this required so much detail in the shadows and highlights in order to give dimension and depth to the image. For example, the purse needed to have the pattern transferred in order to be distinguishable against the darker colors of the jacket and pillow. Adding the pillow and couch were necessary because of their sitting position. Each of the high quality vectors starts with tiny details and then going layer by layer underneath that and creating bigger shapes with the bigger color patches in the image.
